I tried various dishes such as kinki, scallops, octopus, whelk, sea squirt, sea pineapple, and oysters, and they were all delicious. The highlight was the octopus eggs, which were a rare delicacy that had a sticky texture. The restaurant seemed to be popular with locals as well, as it was mostly Japanese customers. There were both traditional tatami seating and small counters for solo diners, although I wish there were regular table seats as well. We enjoyed drinking the easy-to-drink sake called "Hokkaido no Katsu" and ended up ordering multiple rounds. The friendly owners and staff made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for the delicious meal. Note that smoking was allowed in the restaurant.
When I ordered the scallop fry, the owner insisted that the sashimi was delicious, so I decided to go with that option. It turned out to be the right choice. The orange scallops, which are only available in limited quantities, were incredibly sweet and tasty. The live ark shell also had a delicious liver, and it was also very tasty. The dessert with starch and sweet potatoes had a chewy texture and was sweet like a sweet treat. I highly recommend it.
