The owners of this restaurant are lovely and the staff is friendly. It's a great place to bring kids because there is an outdoor play area and toys for them to enjoy. The interior is cozy with different rooms to explore. I usually order the veganized mushroom crepes, which are amazing. The cake options are always tempting, and the coffee is good too. They also have a gift shop with wholesome presents and vegan ice blocks for kids. However, I recently went back for a Christmas party and was disappointed with the limited vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. The dehydrated wrap was not to my liking, so I tried the vegan breakfast bowl, which was also disappointing. The vegetables tasted off, and the tofu was bland. While my friend enjoyed her non-vegetarian dish, another friend also had a negative experience with their meal. It seems like the food quality can be hit or miss at this restaurant. Overall, my recent experience was very disappointing compared to my previous positive review.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely accommodating when I asked for gluten-free and vegan options. Their homemade gluten-free pumpkin bread was absolutely delicious. They were more than willing to make substitutions for me. The food was plated beautifully and it was clear that a lot of care was put into preparing my meal. When I expressed my gratitude to the chefs, they were thrilled to have been able to assist a vegan in finding delicious food in this tiny town.

I have been to many cafes in my lifetime, but these guys really have it together. You can tell they put a lot of thought into both the food and the dining experience. I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you are in Yamba. 5 out of 5 stars.
