Moti mahal delux.. I went there with high expectations and it didn't disappoint. I have been to many moti mahal restaurants in delhi and know how well they are. This one in Vizag is pretty good as well. I ordered Shahi paneer ,Dal makhni and butter naan.. The gravy of shahi paneer was nice though the paneer could have been softer.. Dal makhni was nice and so were the naans... Ambience was also good.. The staff was over courteous which was a little annoying as i don't like waiters coming in every 5 mins to check if I want to order more or if i require their assistance in food serving.. Food quality was not upto the Moti Mahal standards as compared to even small cities like Ranchi. Service was good but ambience could be improved.

Moti Mahal is one of the few restaurants which serve good north Indian food in vizag. It has pretty interiors but is low on space . Even if you do go with a group of around 9-10 there will be minimal problems and they'd accommodate you happily. Coming to the food, we ordered for the sweet corn soup which tasted pretty okay. We went on to order mixed veg , paneer butter masala and kadhai paneer. Paneer butter masala is almost a delight though i wouldn't recommend kadhai paneer. The flavours were too strong. Easy to locate the restaurant in MVP double road. Neat and formal interiors with professional staff and prompt service. Have been to this place twice and loved the food n service. Menu covers Indian, Chinese n Tandoor. Have tried Manchow Soup, Starters: Chicken Achari Tikka, Chicken Afgani Main course: Tandoor roti, paneer curry n dal makhani everything was delicious and rich flavoured, especially tandoor roti was made of wheat flour which is not available in other restaurants and dal Makhani was the show stealer. Really good place to have North indian food in South India.. Ambiance is good...Located on 1st floor...Dal Makhani is really delicious... Paneer tikka is decent... Butter chicken is good in non veg.
