Feedback gevenI really wanted to love the food because I like the atmosphere. The amount of a Saturday afternoon was a mix of people, very relaxed and all enjoy drinks and apps. Well, to begin, I was told that the filled mushrooms were great, so I was excited for them. They are seafood filled with shrimps and crabs, so said the menu. At first I was surprised for $13, this is 2 mushrooms and not especially big. They were orange in color and smooth, which did not signal that they were filled with something other than crumbs. When I cut into her, I couldn't decrypt anything that resembles crabs or shrimps. When I asked the bartender, he somehow tried to explain with what they are filled with, but to show him there were no we found a tiny shrimp lying flat on the bottom of the mushroom) he really couldn't argue, there was no seafood to speak: When the bartender returned, they competed that the kitchen had not really prepared but not offered to prepare them again properly. Next we ordered the nachos. We didn't get meat or chicken. You were warm and cheesy with olives jalapeños, paprika? And onions and tomatoes. All couple chips were awfully salty and they were more color I didn't prefer. The cheese was literally tasteless. It was either mozz or American, but def not cheddar or Jack as it should be. They were okay because I was hungry, but I wouldn't order them again. My friend had the onion soup and seemed to enjoy it. She said it had a good taste. The bartenders are super nice and accommodating. Next time, I'll go later the day and try the pizza.
This place is underestimated. Every time we have been and it probably a dozen times so far we have not only found it welcome, but the food is really good and very plentiful. The service is also pleasant. It is a great place to go when all the other restaurants are jammed because it is a little bigger for the neighborhood, although the parking can be full and you can sometimes have to wait.
It used to be our standby for every couple of weeks. It also loved meeting people for dinner and lunch. Last time, the Steak-Fries seem to be coated with something. Maybe just a question of taste, but they don't enjoy. Delicious. The old version was the best in the Cape! I loved her. Food is still good, but not much different than many other restaurants. I hope they go back to the old style fries, so we can eat again at Oliver’s over other places. So many decisions now my proposal is not to change things if you have a good product.
Haddock Fingers good portion, but a little soggy. white pizza had tomato sauce on it, so it was not a real white pizza.
Friendly service. The food was mediocre. The sirloin tips were highly over marinated with an intense flavor that masked the natural flavor. The chicken quesadilla was burned on the outside with some darker meat. Lobster quesadilla was good with nice sized chunks. … Overall, not worth the trip for dinner.
