The shops are beautiful and full of goods to buy for themselves or as a souvenir. The dorm-style restaurant and the diner get very busy popular times, so come early for all your three meals if you can or wait in line for an hour or more.
Large small store for some needs during the GTNP. We were glad they were there to pack some things without going to town for an hour. The staff were polite and friendly.
There was another pseudo I guess a few things. The line was out of the door for dipping, small bar stools around the counter, not real tables I could see. They didn't do what we wanted to do. Sad, even at noon, and that was before the great flood of 2022, NONE of the other restaurants were open for lunch. Crazy to me. This whole area was jammed with visitors and the other 3-4 restaurants were only open for breakfast or dinner. Missing possibilities. So, we robbed the store (as many others who didn't want to wait an hour for lunch) and brought sandwiches and chips and drinks for lunch. Ate outside and still made the best of it. Checkout for the actual store was super friendly.
Overly priced. 45+ minutes wait just to be seated. Posted a sign to take out and then they said no take out was available. Went during the off season and they were overwhelmed. I can't imagine what it looks like during the season. We also bought sandwiches from the food store part wich is also overly priced. Sandwiches were not good at all. If anything the most expensive and least quality food options around the park.
