We are on vacation and are so happy to find a pub open. A lovely couple welcomed us, and it was more affordable than last year. Price per person: £10–20. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5.

I waited at the bar to be served, but the staff mostly ignored me. When someone finally came behind the bar, they served a local who arrived after me instead. Feeling unimpressed, I decided to leave.

I went to the Christmas dinner and bingo, I have to say that I was not impressed, the tables were decorated with a plastic cloth, no napkins, we had to ask, the turkey was cold. Very small portion size. Mince pies were put on the table, but we couldn’t buy a coffee as they had no milk or cream. I dont think I’ll be going back.

Pies and puddings! Great concept! Great staff that managed our order 12 people) easily. Old-world pub with fireplace and low ceilings.
