Country Sunflower Mini Mart - Yerington

The Country Sunflower is closed on weekends. I miss having a delicious meal after church at noon! The restaurant does not have dine-in options, but they offer takeout and have limited seating available outdoors. Be aware that there is only one entrance from Falcon Road - do not take the exit from the highway as it is closed. Instead, turn onto Falcon Road to access the restaurant.

This diner is a fantastic spot for a cozy meal, serving breakfast and lunch only. Peg, the owner, has consistently delivered top-notch quality and generous portions over the years. The staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile. There is a convenient small store next door, which is quite handy.

Too many great meals to choose from. We always end up taking out of towners here. The French dip is my currant favorite.

I can't quite put my finger on why, but I recently tried a burger at this restaurant and it tasted delicious. The patty was cooked perfectly and the grilled bun added an extra touch. They are currently only open Monday through Friday, with limited seating inside but they also offer takeout options. I can't remember their exact opening hours, but they close at 1:30pm.

I've eaten breakfast and lunch. tons delicious food and the place is always packed with locals who know that eating is great here.
