Despite the slightly high price of 1320 yen, the presentation was lovely and the atmosphere was casual, reminiscent of the chic restaurant with the same name. I also enjoyed a tasty Arabian coffee for 300 yen. The staff mentioned that they will be changing their menu soon, so the vegan burger may no longer be available.
We spent nearly 4000 yen on two burgers and a small salad at this restaurant. The price would have been more acceptable if the burgers were not disappointing. They tasted like a piece of bread with boiled cabbage. After expressing our dissatisfaction to the manager, we suggested using a soy patty or improving the taste in some way. Perhaps in the future, I will give this restaurant another try based on recent reviews.
I have ordered the three sides and an salat option for 1,404 yen before control (simplified separately) the portion size is somewhat disappointing for the price and the aromen are a bit too soft. the falafel was very dry and the sauce is not too good. the kartoffels and the tomato dish were ok, and the salate is mediocre. I also tried the ice bread. the taste is also too soft, it was hardly sweet. Imagine it is like ice cream without sugar to eat in it. updated by previous review on 2021-06-14
Really enjoy the cauliflower, cauliflower burger, cumin rice and salads. There are unusual ingredients like pomegranate and sacha inchi nuts in the salads. Fries and hummus were also good. The only thing that I didn't care for was the moroheiya itself in the Moroheiya and Falafel with cumin rice- it's a leaf that has a sticky, gelatinous texture, and when it was cooked down it was somewhat reminiscent of yamaimo- extremely sticky and just not to my personal taste. If you like things like natto, it might be for you. I've had all the ice cream sandwiches at home via the Far East Bazaar online shop and particularly recommend Hanamitu (Flower Nectar) Soymilk, Fig, and Almond. They do have some seats for eating in. Love how they even mark the beers vegan (rare in Japan). They have some original beers. Updated from previous review on 2021-04-18
We were super excited to try this new restaurant, but after almost an hour of looking around the Takashimaya Food Ports for it, we nearly gave up. That is, until I swallowed my pride and asked the concierge for help (note to the wise: start there if you can’t find it right away) and was pointed straight to it. Although the price was a little steep, the flavors more than made up for my earlier frustrations. The roasted cauliflower burger was absolutely fabulous. The hummus, potatoes, stuffed peppers, and falafel were all good as well. And the gelato sandwiches? My goodness, I couldn’t tell you the last time I was able to eat an ice cream sandwich and these absolutely lived up to my distant memories. Overall, I highly recommend this place. And for reference, it’s located in Food Port 2 on the backside of Audrey and across from House of Rose.
