Polly's Pies Bakery - Yorba Linda

Our server was excellent, the food was delicious and we were back on the way home in no time flat. Besides my ABC Omelette, I love her cinnamon rolls. There is no place better for breakfast after a long morning of hanging Christmas lights.

The staff were friendly enough, but there was a certain stiffness that only comes out of fear. Especially when the short female manager came in. The food was quite terrible, server was so stressed that everything we just did not complain. The ladies looked around the corner and almost stopped their breath worried that the manager would begin. It is not a particularly busy night and this location was less and less worthy of a trip. Tonight felt worse than usual, not only because the salad felt like it was chopped days ago and someone tried to grab all the pennies, but the environment was unused. I stopped after I paid my ticket to talk to another client I knew outside, and I found myself about the two ladies who were not the manager. Then the manager came around the corner and I saw her aggressive eye contact from one of the ladies and advised repeatedly not to show eye contact, pushed herself in her face, then she seemed giggle as she made her clean the bathroom and sniffed her to take gloves because they wanted, then laughed and went away. I waited (this is on the camera when the front of the house works) and she went away. The girls rushed into the bathroom and were at least supportive from each other, because it seems that your establishment has a habit of extreme from line interactions before the employees. I followed the ladies and checked them. One of the two wept and I apologized. I told her to breathe and she didn't deserve this attack, especially customers. Your company does not earn the most toxic kind of management among these employees the absolute bull of [Insert multiple expletives]. Not only was the food bad, the service was painful because they seemed to try to get through feelings about them, but your manager put a show that has an absolutely terrible taste in our mouth. Our and the table I stopped talking to both before and after our meals (you can check we are close). I can't imagine you're not that crazy for a ton of reasons. The only people you serve with consistent repetition visits are either those who lack in taste shops or those who want to ensure that the other staff is okay. I am horrified that your company would use such a terrible person who has to control and advise employees. How can this woman force someone who tries to avoid conflicts to put eye contact to another level of fear. How does it fit remotely? I don't care what her reason was, she's a toxic person, and she should be the one who fires and empowers the employees to talk about workplace aggression and they can breathe. I hope that the entire staff of the restaurant who are faced with their mistakes will have a good night. There was literally no way I was?

Our food order lasted over 30 minutes. My food wasn't hot and not fresh. My toast was cold. It was like sitting in the kitchen before the waiter broke it out. They ran out of sour bread. They never brought the severity we had ordered. The coffee was very weak. Not good The table where we sat was not comfortable because the seats were too low. Unsatisfied with Pollys today

Don't eat here often, but since the last time they have rebuilt and it looks great. The standing seat was quite sloping, but today everything looked up and comfortable. A basic breakfast combo with eggs, sausage and pancakes ordered. The food was hot and the eggs cooked on request. The sausage was fantastic, but the pancakes were just fine. Not sure what it was on the pancakes, almost tasted like the Grid that had to be cleaned. All the others had the chocolate chip pancakes and they loved them. The butter comes soft and the syrup warm, perfect! The coffee was good, but then again I use flavored cream that they offer. Price was fair as a whole a good value.

I really loved this restaurant/diner. The place was so cute, the service was excellent, the food was great! Apple pie was yummy! Would love to try the other pies next time
