Imlee Spice - York

I initially had some concerns after the restaurant changed names, but decided to give them another chance by placing a second order. I was pleasantly surprised with my meal consisting of a madras, korma, and chicken saag as everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. Additionally, the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating.

I had a fantastic meal at Handi Takeaway in Acomb, York. They offer great meal deals and specials. The staff are very friendly and I will definitely recommend this place.

Urgh !! This place has changed its name .. no longer imlee spice I’ve been told .. wish I knew that before ordering £40 worth of food that was watery , bland and not worth the money

The photo below cost £19, 8 small pieces of bland chicken in a full tub of coconut milk with orange colouring. There was so little food it wouldn 't feed 2 so I scraped my portion onto my friends plate and I had some toast. Nearly 20 quid for bland food not enough for 1 person. When I spoke to the manager he offered me 2 extra pieces of chicken then said they 're very busy and doesn 't have time for my call, so we 'll leave it at that . What do you say to that food or service . Avoid this place at all costs. Never eat here ever!

2 hour waiting time for a take away, cold food when it arrived, the meat in both currys was clearly frozen as I couldn't even chew the lamb, watery curries with no flavour. Disappointing.
