Morrisons Supermarket - York

Great breakfast all fresh ingredients freshly prepared hot and tasty excellent. All items perfectly cooked must be a new chef Saturday 9AM drinks are still poor with a crappy slow service and dire coffee. However I must say the breakfast was 10/10 well done.

Morrisons ultimate Breakfast. Absolutely dire..... Morrisons cafe at Staveley Derbyshire. Just had one of their 'Ultimate Breakfast '. Probably an over used analogy, but... Worst experience ever. Ultimate Breakfast. Came with.. 1 overcooked fried egg instead of 2. 1 and 1/2 rashers of bacon very undercooked instead of 3. 3 sausages that if think were from the previous day, just warmed up. The black pudding was so dry. It was almost like eating dust!!!!. 2 fried bread crust, door stops. Undercooked..... 1/2 of 1 tomato. Should have been 2 1/2s. Basically it was . Totally spoiled any experience of having a breakfast cooked for you.

Terrible dirty knifes and forks, dirty tables, loud music playing,cold environment, understaffed no one on the till. Poor service long wait for food. Two small breakfasts and one tea £12 poor value. One sausage, almost raw bacon one wafer thin rasher,hard fried egg ,tomato cold just cut in half. A dystopian nightmare used to be good years ago needs improvement the hot drinks service does not work slow and always shouting without a table number. Maybe an off day but not good at all.

We came to the cafe in Morrison's for a breakfast around 1pm. We were not informed of a 45-60min wait for hot food. The staff were shouting at eachother. Coffee machine broke and we had to wait 30 mins for a dishwater tasting cappuccino. The food was edible but the atmosphere was awful. The lady on the coffee machine was just so mouthy and loud. No cutlery in sight, very messy. Won't be coming again. I appreciate it's a busy time of year but a smile would be nice. I work in hospitality myself and I don't struggle to smile at the people who essentially are paying my wages

Oh dear Morrison’s has gone down hill. Coffee is dire waited 10 mins for a weak machine coffee that tasted terrible. Toast cold and burnt. Breakfast 2 rashers of thin bacon bone dry hash browns. Slow service under staffed cafe avoid not cheap at around £9 Used to be great what’s gone wrong maybe the American company that bought Morrison’s out recently. Depressing environment.
