Swallow Hall Golf Club - York

Had Enough. usually grumpy staff but now closed on a wet day with website saying nothing! So many better and nicer clubs in the area so Sorry, won;t be back.

Played this course a few times over the year, decided to go today but phoned ahead to see if the course is open, was told it was but trolleys and buggies aren't allowed, carry bags only! Very poor in my opinion when other courses are allowing trolleys with winter wheels fitted, swallow hall will loose a lot of business with that attitude

Played golf but didn't use the restaurant. Not enough time Course is great for £20 for 18 holes. Tree's everywhere and amazing greens with steep run offs. Lots of long par3. Friendly staff and had a great time. Lovely practice areas as well. Can't fault it for the money.

Clubhouse, course and the general facilities looked nice but that's as far as we got. Don't allow any non players on the course (including caddies) which was an issue as a single parent on holiday with 2 kids (7 &10). Very strange rule that wasn't mentioned on the website, not something I've come across at another course.

Awesome course. Always well kept and reasonable price for a low par 18 hole course.
