This pub is the best I have visited while working in York. The landlady and landlord are incredibly kind and welcoming. The patrons are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, I would rate it 10/10.

We stopped by for a few drinks before heading to the races. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly.
