They do classic stuff here like steaks, pies and burgers but the little twists on the menu are refreshing. Food was high quality, very easy. Beers on pump were Timothy Taylors and Theakston's best. Staff were wonderfully kind. Will be coming back.
Did not book ahead. Receptionist scrutinised the booking in log decided we could use any table in the back room. Meal was okay except we had a long wait for our courses considering there was no one else in the back room besides us. Luckily we were with good friends and had plenty to chat about. Would call again if I had time on my hands.
Have been here a couple of times and everytime we have been we have thought that the staff were slow and a tad rude. Ended up walking out once as we were sitting at the bar waiting to be seated, we had booked a table, waited a good half an hour and still nobody had come to seat us of even offer a drink. Bad service here and wont be returning
Sat here in the restaurant having lovely food but it’s so loud I cannot speak to my partner as it’s so noisy plus we have a screaming child on the next table (it would also be noisy without the child). Have eaten here before but always in the bar but would certainly not sit in the restaurant again as it spoilt the lunch
Stopped for a quick bite to eat after work, the hotel receptionist pointed me in the direction of the Tiger Inn after hearing good reviews from other guests. Delighted to pull in to a tucked away little pub, I was met with smiles from the girl on the bar and shown to a table. The food was delightful piping hot and fresh. What more can you ask for?
