York Theatre Royal

We had a very pleasant pre-theater menu. table in the window, good service and a tasty main course with crumbling and roasted vegetables. I'd like to do that again.

Went for a pre theatre dinner . Restaurant had a good atmosphere and staff were friendly. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. My husband andI had a two course set menu which had a good choice of Starters and main course. Salmon fish cakes for starters were nice and my husbands pate was also good. Both main courses were really nice the risotto was excellent and my husband had a chicken dish which he equally enjoyed. Would definitely return.

Helpful staff and quick service. We liked the menu choices the Vegetarian Bread and Butter pudding was very tasty. Our first visit since the refurbishment. Will definitely be back for a pre Theatre meal on our next visit to a Show.

Good pre theatre supper is in theatre so very convent for the performance very nice food and helpful staff
