Harvest Restaurant Bar - York

I came searching for a Farm to Table restaurant, as that's what the Google description mentioned. However, I discovered that this is not accurate. Three years ago, back in 2020, this restaurant did have a chef who served Farm to Table meals, but that was only for one season. Since then, for the past three years, this restaurant has been drawing in people like me who support local farmers through these types of establishments, only to be let down by a lack of truly local food offerings.

I’m giving this place one star for its location and another for the decent food. However, my waiter tried to pull a fast one by charging me extra for each item I ordered. For instance, I was upcharged for fries with my burger, even though the menu clearly states they are included. Then he acted like he was doing me a favor by adjusting the prices to what they should have been.

A nice rustic farm to table restaurant with a patio overlooking Arrowhead Mountain. We had an early dinner during our ski trip to Beaver Creek and was sat near the windows by the patio which has a nice Mountain View. Our server was nice and food was decent. We had the delicious Lemon al Ajillo Shrimp as appetizer. My hubby ordered the Harvest Burger while I opted for the Pan Seared Salmon. The salmon was flavorful with the crispy skin and light celery root purée. One thing tho was they didn’t time it right to bring out the entrees, we were not even half way done on the appetizer when they brought the main course out. Both dishes were sitting on the table while we rushed to finish the appetizer. Overall it was a nice dinner and we enjoyed it

To start, we had the delicious Lemon al Ajillo Shrimp as an appetizer. My husband chose the Harvest Burger, while I went for the Pan-Seared Salmon. The salmon was flavorful, featuring crispy skin and a light celery root purée. However, there was a timing issue with our entrees; they arrived while we were still only halfway through the appetizer, which meant we had both dishes sitting in front of us as we hurried to finish the first course. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner experience, and we really enjoyed our meal.
