Hands down the best seafood restaurant in York, Pa!! Amazing food, very friendly staff! We love coming to the Paddock! My first cup of cream of crab was cold. The vegetable of the day was overspiced. I couldn't even eat it. When two elderly women came into the restaurant and clearly did not have enough energy to walk to the back, the waitress told them they could not sit at a front table becausethat sectionwas closed. These poor elderly women had to crawl up on bar stools to avoid walking to the back dining room. I feel that the waitress could have made an exception, but obviously, she was too lazy. I went here for my birthday on Tuesday night. It was busy which is usually a good sign on a weekday. Considering how much the food cost, I expected a lot more in terms of service and quality. The cream of crab was bland, lukewarm, and didn't have as much crab as places that are significantly cheaper. We got the clam appetizer, that was okay. Nothing to write home about. The garlic bread was excellent. We also got Alfredo and the three seafood option with scallops, shrimp, and crabcake. Crabcake was excellent, scallops were good, and the shrimp were okay. We had to ask for the side salad that comes with the Alfredo and the cream of crab. The Alfredo and cream of crab were barely warm. We had to ask for refills on drinks. We didn't complain because they had a large party to the side and seemed like the waitress was brand new and the restaurant was understaffed. Also, it seems like the person who reads these reviews is a little petty, so bottom line, we won't be coming here again.
