Breakfast stop on Saturday morning bike/car run with mates. Warm and welcoming, good service and coffee - and great food. Bacon and eggs hit the spot - just what we needed. Reasonably priced, good portion size.
I went to the cafe for lunch on a Sunday in August. Ordering at the till was steady, but there wasn't a clear queue and I was unsure why there was such a long delay between placing and paying for my order and receiving it. I ordered a burger and coffee to eat in, thinking it wouldn't be too complicated. My coffee arrived and the cup was cleared away, but it took 40 minutes for my burger to arrive. It was delicious, but it seemed that all the tables around me had similar wait times, even for those who had only ordered soup. I would recommend asking about the wait time for your order if you choose to visit this cafe. They have outside seating that accommodates wheelchair access.
We started with some take away coffee, which we found to be very enjoyable. Later, we returned for lunch and tried the Wild Mushroom Burger. Despite being skeptical of the name, the burger was actually delicious and the chips were perfectly crispy. I also ordered a lovely pot of hot tea, while my boyfriend opted for the freshly squeezed orange juice, which was incredibly fresh and came in a large glass that seemed to hold about a liter of juice. Overall, we highly recommend giving this place a try.
