Caldense Bakery - York

So. So. So. Good!!! The natas are as authentic as alive ever found in Canada! Definitely my favourite local bakery! I've heard their sandwiches are incredible, so I'll be trying one of those next!

Bad customer service. Our server misunderstood our order becuase she has limited language skills, and we corrected her IMMEDIATELY at the counter -before they started preparing the order. she pointed a finger at us and got angry with us while she could not understand English. I understand humans are allowed to misunderstand, but why get so angry at us! So we decided to just leave without eating there. Very poor customer service. Please train your staff to deal with all kinds of situations with respect and calmness. We were understanding with her while she was defensive and angry. That's no way to host customers.

Good is good and service is quick. Great place to stop by and grab something to eat wile working.

Very nice place to sit down and have a pastry don't really recommend the coffee too well but everything else is great

I recommend the pastries in the display, especially the egg tarts. I always buy 2-6 cause they go so fast. Lots of seating to enjoy your food.The chicken/pork sandwiches on the grill , note that the meat is not deli meat and on the drier side. Any additions of lettuce, tomato, mushroom etc is 0.75 cents each. Although the bread was very soft!
