I've been here twice now, the first time it was a quiet evening and the food came out pretty good. The second time it was Chinese New Year and the restaurant was super busy. We made reservations but they forgot about it, and we ended up waiting for 40 minutes. They even gave away another table while they knew we were waiting. The food ended up being just okay, the duck is always done well but everything else came out quite bland. Even the red bean soup at the end tasted just watery and not good at all. The service was terrible that night, naturally. I would not go back for any special occasion or on any night that might be busy.

This is a great choice for a quick and reasonably priced lunch for less than $10. The service is quick and the food is good. Decor is a little shabby with worn carpets. The Peking duck was much too large for one person so I could not try it on my visit.

Glancing outside into restaurant, it doesn't seem much of an appeal. Tables and furniture are dated, taped and rocky. We were a party of eight so I ordered the Beijing duck two course ( it was nice n crispy,) lettuce cold n crisp, chicken fried rice, spring rolls, fried chicken pieces with sweet n sour sauce on side ( favorite among all in the party,) taro nest filled with seafood n Veggies ), fried thin yellow noodles with seafood, deep fried bananas and apples with honey. Will stay with the bananas in future. Nice experience. Bill was $170 tax in.

Possibly one of the Best Peking Duck prepared two ways for two course offerings in the GTA end of story. Other favourite spots comparatively are Peking Man, Kwan and Lai Wah Heen. Been there twice in the past two weeks, including today. I have ready about people complaining about service but I received excellent service today. She was very attentive, helpful, welcoming and sweet.
