We arrived for a late dinner around 8:30pm and ordered the Beef Tendon Donburi, Shoyu Ramen, and Kyouka Ramen.
This cozy noodle house still features traditional stand-up tables outside, evoking memories of a classic burger joint.
Their service was bad. I came in during heavy rainfall, so my unbearable was dripping. I hanged it on the edge of my table which I was in the middle of the restaurant, the server quickly brought a garbage can from inside to the entrance. She walked pass me and not even offered me to put my umbrella into it. Rest of the time there, service just ok. Food: first time I have Ramen with chicken broth, went to Sapporo, Hakodate and Japan, soup base from pork is standard for Ramen. The soup taste not even chicken but say sauce with garlic. Now the half soft boiled egg, the yolk was running but COLD. Never have running yolk cold in Ramen, at least minimum at room temp, this is NOT acceptable. The two tiny pieces of meat - chicken and pork. They all tasted like BOILED in soy sauce and taste the SAME. Last the noodles, no wow.Wasted my $13, disappointed and will never come back.
Very efficient service, friendly staff, ample parking for the size of restaurant. Decided to have the shoyu ramen noodle soup, very nice broth, garnished with nori, slice of pork, slice of chicken, spinach & a perfect half of an egg. A few ramen choices, some appetizers such as shrimp tempura or gyoza, a donburi rice bowl.
