However, if you are looking for a cozy atmosphere or a place for a quite place for a business lunch or...a romantic dinner, this isn't it. I was there on a Saturday for lunch with friends, and the place was filled with loud kids.
What a terrible experience last week! The service we received was probably the worst service we’ve received in all our experiences in eating out and we do it quite a lot. First, we walked in and were about to sit at a table we usually...sit at(table for and were told we couldn’t sit there and were directed to a table for The seat was in the aisle and I didn’t pick that table as I knew my chair would be in the way. When we were sitting we moved the table closer to the window to allow more space in the aisle. The waitress came by and asked me to move my chair in so I did so. We asked for a fork as Rob’s fork fell when we moved the table. She asked us what happened to the fork and we told her it fell. She asked where it was and we told her we didn’t know as we couldn’t see where it fell. We were then ready to place our order and she just leaves. Didn’t say excuse me just walked away. At that point we got up and left. Needless to say that we will never be back again!
Excellent Wood burning pizza, tasty pastas, and salads. Wine list is acceptable good coffee some times it’s her busy.
My husband and I went for lunch today in June at their newly opened Newmarket location. The premises were tastefully decorated. The waitress was very nice, but we had to wait a fair amount of time for our food. My husband ordered a penne carbonara, but the portion was fairly small and there was no garlic bread or any kind of bread - just an unattractive plate of penne with meat sauce on top for an expensive price. I ordered a grilled chicken breast with vegetables for Well, I received a half chicken breast that had been pounded flat to make it look bigger, and the vegetables consisted of tiny, overcooked florets - that was all. Even though the menu had the word "vegetables" in plural, this lack of variety was not acceptable, especially for the price. As a result, I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone, including my friends.
Went out to celebrate my daughter's birthday to Vivo. With of us, there was a good sampling of their mainstays wood oven pizza and pasta. The food was very good. Some thought the pizza crusts were just a little too thin I...thought it to be bang on. Everyone liked their pizzas and pastas. So why not a higher recommendation? They market to an upscale clientele and charge accordingly. However the searing and decor were rather simple and general of any airy restaurant not much character. The service was pleasant, but puzzling. The pastas came out spaced minutes apart and then the pizzas showed up nearly minutes later. Food for another table came out to us, was taken back and then once figured out, got brought to the correct table. One of our pizza orders was made with incorrect ingredients and had to be remade. If they would have been very busy at the time I wouldn't mention the couple of order gaffs, but there were only groups in the restaurant at the time. Like I said, the food was very good, but all things considered, there are a lot of better Italian choices in Woodbridge.
