Regular 2 choice, regular 2 choice w/extra noodle, and veggies came to $25 (tax and tip included). A pretty good deal.
Waitress gave us a seat for 2 fast, speedy service. Excellent lunch. We ordered wonton noodle and fish ball with pork (2 item). Delicious, hot and fresh. This is a good spot for quick lunch or dinner.
Went last night with wife and two little ones. Her second time there, she had gone with a coworker. She ordered a won ton soup she was pleased with, while the kids ordered shrimp wonton lo mein, sliced beef lo mein, and I wrapped it up with pork chili with tomato sauce lo mein. The lo mein dishes come with a clear soup on the side. Neither the kids nor I liked the soup. All three lo mein dishes disappointed... the kids started asking if they could have fruits when we got home - couldn't get them to try more than 4 bites of the food. I ate mine on principle - I was raised to not leave food on my plate - but when it was done I was just glad it was over. Two stars because wife liked her won ton soup and she also liked the service. In all fairness, the place was quite full throughout dinner and while we were leaving which leaves me wondering: (a) is there no competition from better places in the vicinity of that neighbourhood? (b) is it because the dishes are cheap (about $6.50/dish)? I can't imagine it's the flavour.
I'm surprised I haven't tried this joint earlier onDefinitely impressed.
It's all about comparisonsIn a city with so many micro genres of food like wonton noodle, you can't help but compare and rank.
