Chester’s Chicken - Yorktown

Placed a large order for a bunch of contractors on a whim. I’m glad I did! It was delicious and the guys are still raving about the chicken. Service was very good and welcoming. Will be back!

Made a stop in Lexington South Carolina to get gas. Seen Chester's gave it a try. It was delicious and friendly workers.

Wonderful food. We stop whenever we are in the Yorktown area. I tried the ribeye this last visit. Ohmygoodness scrumptious!!!

This place was fantastic! We had dinner here on a Friday night in mid-October. We didn’t know the area, as we were visiting from out of town to go to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. But we decided to give this place a shot, and I am so glad that we did! The place was pretty packed, but not overly so. It was loud, but a fun, family friendly atmosphere, and plenty of seating. We didn’t have to wait to get a table for our party of 5. The outside terrace was also open, and that’s my ONLY complaint, is that people were outside smoking and we had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get inside. But that’s a minor complaint; better outside, than inside. The whole place was elaborately decorated for Halloween, which was a huge plus! The kids loved it. And it made it a really fun atmosphere; so much to see. They served drinks, and plenty of people were there drinking, but no one was out of line, and there were plenty of kids and families there, too. I’d say it’s a great family place, as well as a great place to meet up with some friends on a Friday night for drinks. I think they were open until 2 am. The staff was super friendly, and now the best part…the food! Wow! Best bbq I have had in a loooong time, and reasonably priced! They have so many sauces right at the table, to try. And the kids menu…wow, the portions were huge! Usually kids menu items are like snack food portions, but these were extremely generous and delicious. The fries were big and lightly seasoned…so good! I wish we had one of these restaurants closer to home, we would be regulars, for sure. We didn’t have drinks or desert, but what we did have was fantastic and we had a great time and left very satisfied! Fun for all!

They got my order wrong. The chicken livers were over cooked making them hard and dry. I didn't get the coleslaw I ordered. I'm not ordering from them again.
