Mcdonald's - Yorkville

We went there for lunch on 8/8/24 at about 11AM in the drive-through and got double quarter pounder meal, 6 piece nuggets-happy meal, and double cheeseburger. We found mold colonies, looks like zygomycota, on the bottom of the bun. My pregnant wife was very upset after seeing it on the burger. It isn't the flour dusting, which is white and expected, but this is green. I'm attaching a picture of one of the buns for reference. I called the store afterwards to make sure to inform them to watch what they are serving, but any bread in that packaging should be thrown away. I hope none of us get sick from it. This could happen at any restaurant, but I'm concerned that it made it to the customer. The person I spoke to about the issue was nice and offered an in store credit, but we are wary and will likely not go back anytime soon. I wish I had received the receipt so that I had more details. Check your food carefully before eating if you go to this location, hopefully it was a fluke.

I've never left a review for a McDonald's, why bother you get what you get, but after my bad experience, here it is to remind to NEVER come back! Cold, old fries, old stale bun on the burger and no beverage fountain??? What is this, the 80s? Go to the one in Morris. To end this review on a positive note, the fries were nice and salty!

Every time I have tried to go there later in the evening they are closed when their hours say they are open until 11pm. It’s 10pm and all their lights are off. This is the third time.

Orders are always messed up. I got the mobile special for the two dollar big Mac tasted like I had steel bread that had been sitting for hours and hours, barely no sauce. It was super cold. The customer service is horrendous. They mess up every order.
