I had a wonderful dinner; the food was fantastic and the service was exceptional.

My dining experience here was a refreshing break from the Mountain House meals I've been having in the backcountry. I ordered the wagyu burger while my wife opted for the pot roast. Don't miss out on a slice of the homemade key lime pie – it was absolutely divine! Being able to charge the meal to our room made the whole experience feel a bit more upscale.

We faced a long wait of an hour to be seated for dinner. While we were waiting, we overheard the host mention to another party that dinner could be served right away in lunch boxes on the porch instead of inside the restaurant. Since the weather was still pleasant outside, we decided to take that option. Unfortunately, after placing our order, it took about 50 minutes for our food to arrive, and by that time, it had turned quite chilly outside. It was also less than ideal to enjoy a pricey dinner served in a lunch box. We both ordered the same dish—pot roast. One was decent, but the other was disappointing, as it consisted mostly of fat and no actual meat. Overall, the service was mediocre.
