Porkys Ribs - Yuba City

The meat was cooked to perfection, and the sauce had a wonderful blend of heat that enhanced the flavor. The greens were just like how Grandma used to make them. The only downside was that the potato salad and coleslaw didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and the family-style portions were offered at a very reasonable price.

We ordered the mini party platter, which included five meats in a medium sauce. My 2-year-old has a knack for spicy food and really enjoyed the mac and cheese. The BBQ was incredibly tender, flavorful, and simply delightful. We might find ourselves craving their ribs on a daily basis! That said, our favorite aspect of the restaurant was its cozy, homey atmosphere. We stumbled into this charming little hole-in-the-wall, and were warmly greeted by the friendliest couple. Even though it was nearly closing time, they made us feel right at home. The sweet tea was just like what I remember from my grandmother’s fridge. We’ll definitely be back many times. I'm so glad we chose Porky's BBQ tonight!

I absolutely adore the food here! The portions are generous, and the mac and cheese is simply outstanding. The owners are incredibly sweet and kind as well! I really hope they reopen soon, as they offer the best barbecue in town. This is definitely one of my favorite local, family-owned businesses to support. Make sure to check them out!

Everything was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Queen Platter along with every side dish and dessert they offered. Each item was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. I called in my order, and everything was ready exactly when they said it would be. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit — and a tip! As a Southern girl, I can say that their smoked BBQ meats are a real delight, and the pecan pie and peach cobbler were heavenly. Next time, I plan to try the King Tut Platter and sample more desserts. Yes, it’s that good, right here in Yuba City. Yum!
