They are the rudest most arrogant people I have ever met. People are right about them not answering the phones also. I tried calling 8:15 to place a to-go order on a Sat. night when they are Supposed to close at 9pm. I called 3 times let it ring about 15 times each time about 5 minutes apart. I was about 20 minutes away by then (I live about 30 miles form them but I was already driving). So I thought I would go in place a quick to go order. They tell me the kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing. Who does that? Why isn't it on the web site? How hard would that be? I was a chef at an Italian place for about 2 years, we would have been out of business if we treated customers 1/2 this bad. They were very rude when I asked if I could order a pizza were almost laughing about it. I don't care how good your food is you still have to have a few manners, didn't their mommas teach them anything? Well hopefully people will read my comment others like it about their rudeness Before they go in not after I wasted my time driving out there just to be laughed at. I don't care how many fixed awards you win it won't keep customers coming in if they keep driving them out with rudeness. P.S. I am from Chicago also I thought it was New Yorker's that were supposed to be rude. Maybe you shouldn't say you are from Chicago, you are giving us a bad name!
There new location on 13th and Yucaipa Blvd is bigger and better... more space and a great atmosphere they have new items to try and the pizza is awesome the service is great!
As I was born in Long Island and so spoiled, I have been searching for a decent California pizza since I moved her in 1986. Sorry, CA, you have got tons of things going for you, but pizza is not one of them. Well, I haven't yet ventured to try A.J. Barile's Pizza yet, but if his Meatball Subs and Sliced Beef sandwiches are any indication, I think we have a new winner! Could it be that no longer do I have to go to Pedone's Pizza in Hermosa Beach, or Verrazano's Pizza in Las Vegas, or Abio's in Ocala FL to get a taste of real pizza? Perhaps. AJ claims he's got a thin crust pizza, which one doesn't usually attribute to Chicago; this makes me all the more excited to return! Way to go AJ Barile!
