Dolce Vita - Yucatan Mexico

THE WORST SERVICE FROM THE MANAGER!! We sat at the table, and they REQUIRED a minimum consumption, we accept by asking for the most expensive bottle of wine on their menu... then when ordering food, we include a pizza from their menu, they tell us that in that section of the restaurant we cannot eat pizza, ¡¡ WHATT!! Its an item on your menu!!!, so we changed tables and neither, the pizza is eaten in the very back of the restaurant were no one can see you. I call the manager/owner and a BADLY EDUCATED ITALIAN approaches with the WORST ATTITUDE and in and ARROGANT way tells us that this is how it is, and offers no solution. It should be noted that the restaurant was almost empty. Please if you don’t whant pizza to be eaten in your restaurante, TAKE IT OUT OF YOUR MENU! I ASK FOR THE ACCOUNT AND I WITHDRAW. It is a pity that people like this are owners/managers of restaurants and take advantage of the benefits of our MEXICAN paradises, at least they should show some respect and gratitude for these lands and their people. ¡¡EL PEOR SERVICIO DEL GERENTE!! Nos sentamos en la mesa, y nos EXIGIERON un consumo mínimo, acepte pidiendo la botella de vino mas cara de su menú… después al pedir de su menú una pizza, nos dicen que en esa sección del restaurante no podemos comer pizza, ¡¡¡que esta en su menú!!!, nos cambiamos de mesa y tampoco, la pizza se come atrás en las ultimas mesas! What!!!??? Llamo al gerente y un MAL EDUCADO ITALIANO de PESIMA forma y ARROGANTE nos dice que así es allí y no ofrece ninguna solución. Cabe señalas que el restaurante estaba casi vacío. PIDO LA CUENTA Y ME RETIRO. Es una lástima que personas así sean dueños/gerentes de restaurantes y se aprovechen de las bondades de nuestros paraísos MEXICANOS, por lo menos tengan respeto y agradecimiento por estas tierras y su gente.

The first evening we visited for dinner was enjoyable. We had good service and good food which led us to return for drinks the next evening. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We returned for dinner and although the staff was welcoming, they quickly forgot about us as Hispanic/Spanish-speaking guests arrived. It was as though the waitstaff were far more concerned or fearful of disappointing the Hispanic guests so we were moved aside so their attention was solely on them. A long wait to even pay our check to leave. The food was good but the service declined as compared to other visits we have had at this restaurant over the years.

Don’t waste your time and money. Pastas were extremely salty and tasted like they came out of a can or jar and not made in house. Cocktails were watered down. Service was very slow and they never even checked in on us after they dropped off the food. Only positive take away from the dinner was the atmosphere. Very misleading to think you’re getting quality Italian food. We will never be back.

Dined as a family of 7 last night and everything from arrival was fantastic. The food was outstanding and served with theatre. Service excellent and attentive. A beautiful restaurant with excellent atmosphere overlooking the dolphins. The tagged pictures speak for themselves. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening.

Dolce Vita Italian Restaurant in PA continues to impress us with its outstanding food and service. Our second visit was just as delightful as the first. The homemade pasta is exceptional, showcasing the perfect blend of freshness and flavor that only comes from true craftsmanship. Every dish we tried was superb, from the appetizers to the desserts. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine with top-notch service, Dolce Vita is the place to go. We can't wait for our next visit!
