Goldsboro Bakery Foothills - Yuma

I didn't really want to be there but I rarely see much traffic at this location so I figured I'd stop in and grab something to support a small business. The feeling was apparently mutual they didn't seem all that excited I was there either. If you're a transplant from the valley and miss stopping in thier in-town location I suppose that's your spot. Otherwise there are much better offerings for baked goods just up the street.

A nice local business. An army of mature ladies just waiting to serve you. I liked their donuts. Not such a huge selection that you couldn’t make a decision. They had many choices in breads that they bake and also several sweet bread choices. Lots of seating and a decent menu of sandwiches and salads. They have soups as well. They close two, so be punctual for lunch.

The donuts are great! The only problem is trying to get a box for my donuts. I don't like my 4 expensive donuts stuffed in a bag. I'm told I have to buy a dozen to get a box the problem is a dozen won't fit in the boxes they have. I would rather have 4 stuffed in a bag before I ask for 12 stuffed in a box. So for me to get a dozen I will have to pay 2.00 for 2 boxes ..... that's probably not going to happen. Now when I go in I get one 1.80 donut in a bag. Instead of getting 4-6 donuts at around 8- 12.00 in a .37 cent box. But the donuts are great!

First time here and we were impressed! Me and the wife (the wife and I) picked up a day old loaf of rye bread. It was amazing. Not only was it super-rye tasting, but it lasted just fine for a week in the fridge. The person at the counter said there are no preservatives in there, which made it that much better!

Yummy pastry First time visit Discovered they serve breakfast as well.. They are seasonal, come and go with the snowbirds.
