Simple Green - Zagreb

I liked that they bring a salad on a side.., ate fallafel salad was huge salad-couldnt even finish but the sauce was yummy, i think homemade..

Perfect place to stop by., eat and go. value for money portions are just right food is not overcooked nor over flavored ladies who work there are super nice Highly recommended.

I went out of my way to Simple Green because I had read about the traditional Croatian foods. The menu is vegan burgers, kebabs and falafel. There is a rotating daily menu but none of the options seem particularly traditional of Croatia. Falafel was delicious though! Updated from previous review on 2022-04-10

I went to this place with really high expectations but unfortunately it couldn’t live up to it. The food was good in general, however I didn’t have a lot to choose from because they didn’t have an english menu. So it is good if you can speak and read croatian at least thats what I think as a lot of people came and liked the food when we were there. The another minus is that they don’t have an inside sitting place, only outside and in the cold it was horrible to sit outside and wait for the food.

The menu changes daily. On my visit, I tried a dish of roasted butternut squash, tofu, and various toppings like feta, cashews, and pumpkin seeds. The dish was delicious and the ingredients were well-balanced. The restaurant only has outdoor seating, so the food cooled quickly due to the cold temperatures outside. The smoothie was flavorful and not too diluted.
