Waldsteinhaus - Zell im Fichtelgebirge

I have always been a big fan of the Waldsteinhaus and rather sad about the fact that the guardians after the Gentiles were unfortunately not able to do so. I find it all the more beautiful that the Waldsteinhaus can finally be a starting point again! We were there yesterday for compulsory carving and can only express our praise. The food was super delicious, inexpensive and the portions really neat. There is nothing to be expected from the service: fast, courteous, friendly. Keep going! But I would like to say a tiny point of criticism: Unfortunately, after leaving the host house, our clothes smelled relatively strong to Fritteuse. This is probably because the wardrobe is right next to the kitchen. I didn't notice that before, but it won't stop us from coming back again and again. P.s. The Waldsteinhaus is finally reopened. That's why we took a winter hike there yesterday. On the way, we were interviewed by the BR3, which is why we moved here today and what we expect. (Request of my 4J. Sons: Bratwurst with sauce: We were kindly greeted and were immediately allowed to choose a table. The house was very well visited. The drinks were taken up and served immediately. It would be particularly noteworthy that there was a shelf in the next room with children's games and books to make the stay more beautiful. We accepted the offer thanks. It was also nice that reorders such as the potato soup did not present any problem as a main course but as soup. I had the just mentioned homemade potato soup on the way and then wild boar ragout with grits dumplings, cranberries and salad. My son the longed sausages with sauce and pommes. The menu is very extensive and leaves hardly any wishes. The dishes were served quickly. The soup was delicious, really homemade, as shown in the map. My main course was also delicious and the child was delighted by the sausages and the possibilities of playing. Price performance ratio is top and the portions very large, I was pappsatt after. It is also noteworthy that in the front is shown in the map where the meat originates, that is, from which farmers. Is not a cheap stuff from the discounter, but regionally and qualitatively high quality, which one also tastes! Today, on Sunday there would be a daily ticket with different fryinges, schnapps and rouladen! It is a pity that we do not make a change today, but perhaps another time: dogs are offered a water bowl by the way. There were many hikers with dog on the way, we weren't today for once, but next time. I can completely recommend the new Waldsteinhaus and look forward to the next time. Until then I wish a lot of success!

In the end, our Zeller Hausberg has another tenant. And it seems like they're doing well! We were served today at least very friendly, fast and careful!
