Not sure where to start. We sat outside on a beautiful night. We were given menus and then no one came back for a long time. Finally got to order, and btw you have to order and pay for chips and Salsa. That itself should have been a sign to leave. Ordered 2 house margaritas, one rocks, one frozen. One the rocks was strong, but not good. The frozen was Absolutely the worst I have had in years. Basically light green shaved ice and ended up being $12 even in Tahoe this is ridiculous, especially for a nasty one! So the fajitas did come fast and were average. But, he did not bring the chips and salsa that I was paying extra for. I had to inside and ask, no real response or apology when he brought them. both chips and salsa were good. He also never ever came back to the table and sent another staff member to bring the check. So average food, horrible service and absolutely totally nasty expensive Margaritas they could go to Safeway next door and buy some mix, a shot of tequila and it would have been so much better! Avoid!!! Try Casey’s Nextdoor if you want to stay in the area.
They need help. I waited 15 minutes before I was asked to be seated and I was the only one waiting. It was not a full restaurant. Then they forgot me... did not ask if I wanted a drink or anything. I wanted to order to go and they were out of steak and carnitas. This is unheard of for Mexican Restaurant. This was at 530pm and not before closing. Terrible communication and it seems like they only care and serve large parties. I was alone. Bad customer service.
The food was decent but the service was terrible. We were one of three tables in the late evening and the waiter hardly checked on us. We could see him sitting on his phone behind the bar. Took forever to finally get the bill. Will not be backFood: 3/5
I stumbled across this hidden gem while going to safeway in the same shopping center. I noticed quite a few people enjoying their dinner, and it peaked my interest. I'm glad we tried this restaurant. I had the carne asada with rice and beans, tortillas, and a michelada. The steak was cooked to perfection. Overall, everything on the plate was delicious. I really enjoyed the michelada. There is plenty of seating inside and outside.
