Grizzly’s Bar & Bistro - Zermatt

While the menu is slightly smaller, everything was excellent here! We would definitely go back. Great staff and the prices were good for Zermatt. The curry was actually spicy and excellent and they had a great selection of beer! Great place after a day on the slopes!

About Grizzlys Bar on the way from the train station to my hotel on weekends. What a great find! In a quiet back road directly from the railway station. Unfortunately, only for one night could be there. A cozy bar and bistro, which makes the best craft beer from the region and via a large antidote from the usual heinekens and field closed garbage so often in Switzerland. Try the Grumpy Pumpy brewed from 2 Scotsmen to the valley. Graham and Isobel are brilliant hosts. Graham makes all cooking from a tiny kitchen next to the bar is amazing what he is able to turn out! Had the burger and chips, and it was honestly incredible! Probably best burger we’ve ever had. Super friendly staff, and good prices for Zermatt!

It was just a lot of fun. Food was great, they were warm and welcoming. Sometimes in zermett some restaurants can feel like tourists traps only after the next dollar and to get you out of the door. This is not one of those places… they drank with us, laughed with us and just cared about our having fun
