Feedback gevenA wonderful team producing delicious food. I had the special of the night, a duck ragout pasta. Really tasty.
We had heard that this restaurant was worth a visit and came away very disappointed. The staff and service were great and the ambiance was very promising for a very pleasant evening, however the menu was very limited, which, in normal circumstances we like but on this occasion the starter of anchovies still in the tin with toasted sourdough was not exactly fine dining. The main courses arrived and my dining companion had pan fried Barramundi which was perfectly cooked, with a side of roasted vegetables, the new potatoes were very undercooked to the point of being inedible. I had the special of seared tuna steak, which was best described as a medallion of tuna and seared on either side but so thick that the center was stone cold and sinewy. The worst aspect was when l had to visit the 'bathroom ' which was the public toilets with no soap or hand towels, not what l expected from the reviews....This restaurant has so much potential but so much lets it down to the point of, even though a local, l would not rush back with so many other choices close by.
Friendly start to an evening but they didn't have a table even though we made a reservation. Affordable pricing but very slow service. Over an hour for our first meal. Waitresses were non English speaking and had difficulty explaining the menu. I'm a local but with regret I will not be visiting again. I'm afraid that this restaurant within such a competitive industry won't last more than two years. When the mains did arrive below expectations.
My family and I went out for dinner at this restaurant. The staff seemed pretty busy and we had to flag them down to place our order and get the bill. The restaurant is on the small side, so it's definitely recommended to make a reservation for dinner. The food is delicious, although the portions are a bit small. Expect to pay around $30 for a meal.
I was excited to try Milano Torino restaurant. I made a reservation for two a week in advance and mentioned that it was a special occasion, my girlfriend's birthday. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. The staff did not seem to have read my note and there was a lack of emphasis on welcoming new customers and attention to detail. The customer service was disappointing, with inexperienced wait staff who lacked expertise and attention to details such as refilling wine glasses or checking in during the meal. On a positive note, the food was well-prepared and traditional. Overall, my experience was okay, but I felt that Milano Torino was charging more than the level of service I received. With better training for the staff and a more professional approach to customer service, it could be a great place to dine.
