Astar Coffee House - Zhongshan District

An alley coffee spot/bar where the owner isn’t catering to the mainstream. Limited hours, seating, and menu. When I came there were only pour-over coffee options — your choice of beans. The owner’s friends stopped by to chat, all sitting at the bar talking candidly.

Delicious tiramisu and cozy place! There’s no time limit so you can sit down and chilling.

Great place to chill after work or on weekends. do try the Farmer’s sandwich and desserts, u won’t be disappointed!

More than a coffee house, the owner was one of my favorite bartenders in Taipei (back in the old days). It’s chill, cozy and a place where you can work, hang out and have a good cup/glass of something! Anything from a nice espresso, tea, gin& tonic to fancy cocktails, it’s available. Haven’t tried the food yet, but I’m sure it’s awesome.

Definitely recommend this place! Must order B.L.T ! It is super deliciousthe pour-over coffee is also good! The staff is cool and friendly! BTW at night the cafe will turn into bar mood
