The Chilean Relenos were a big hit as both they were impressed with the presentation and aromas. The French toast was also tasty. We share a Quesadilla, and it was also well prepared. The hot salsa that accompanied him was exellent, with a good amount of heat and lots of taste. The service was friendly and attentive.
I love Chilly Rellenos anyway, but today was as perfect as I could hope. Large part filled with smoked cheese, wow. The tortillas were thicker, damper, fresher. And unexpectedly it came with a refreshing juice that was full of taste in its own right. No added sugar. Back! Clean, quiet and so polite, limited English, but menus has translations. Just do not try to change what is offered and you will be okay.
I ate dinner and lunch here and the food is great. For lunch they serve "comida corrida ', soup, duck and drink for 60 pesos. Everything I had eaten here was excellent. Restaurant and bathroom are clean. Service is good. The owner speaks English. Beautiful location at the foot of Cuauhtémoc so no loud cars past. A good place for a quiet relaxing meal.
It'll be 4 times that we ate here. Every day for lunch, so I should say it's good and cheap. Good sauces and friendly. The market is the best
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local Expat. And his recommendation did not disappoint. The Canadian style breakfast with a Mexican twist was just excellent. The fruit plate was ample and the hot cakes were light and fluffy. My husband craved his egg and bacon (Canadian style, over easy) and pronounced this place the best breakfast place in town! But there is more to this restaurant than just breakfast. Every day they present the Commida Corrida for a mere $50 pesos per plate. Traditional Mexican fare with a couple of North American specialties as well. Nothing bad about this place!
