Salvador's - ZIHUATANEJO

We stopped by Salvatores at the recommendation of someone we met. The drinks were strong and you cannot complain about the happy hour. I had the mahi mahi steak and shrimp combo special and my husband had the skewers. The food was very good and we would definitely eat here again.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner. Mojitos were yummy (2 for 1), Mahi mahi and shrimp were great as was the kabob with chicken, shrimp and mahi mahi. Delicious meal at a reasonable price. Thank you Salvador’s! We will return

Several of our fav restaurants are along the same street as Salvador’s, but they were closed on Sunday.Small family run restaurant. I ordered the Orange Fish which was tuna on that day. Generous portion. Gravy over the sauce was made with orange juice, but could have been brighter if they included zest. My friend ordered Tortilla Soup, but got the onion soup instead. They did not have Chardonnay that night, but had a nice Conch e Toro Sauvignon Blanc. Soggy vegetables. Ok rice. Price was a reasonable USD $25 for 2 entries, 3 drinks,and the tortilla soup.

Salvador's is at the end of a street full of great restaurants. You see Rufo's, El Arayan, Teracita's and then it starts getting quiet..but nestled next to Terracita's is Salvador's. The staff speak great English, the portions are great, and the food is cooked to perfection! The fresh catch of the day is worth trying. Tonight was Mahi Mahi steak and it was excellent. And it's quiet because everyone has stopped at the other restaurants first! No waiting, great service and great food. Glad we decided to try it would recommend it to anyone!

The seafood here is good, but the filet mignon was outrageously good. Everything is cooked on a grill nearby. Music from street musicians (pan pipes are the current favorite) and a fun ambience combined with very low prices make Salvador's a favorite place.
