Fáro - Zlate Moravce

An exotic menu that doesn't quite live up to expectations. Service is excellent, ambience great and the desire to offer something different commendable, but I found the harmony of spices off key and the Indian soup a rather strange concoction ,the like of which I never sampled in all my days living in India. It's a tough call but I feel small restaurants are always better off sticking to a basic menu.

The food is very good and the service is just as good. It reminds me of a diner in the U.S., which is the look they are going for. They have a very extensive menu but only in Slovak or German so it helps to be with a Slovak speaker. There is everything from salads and basic starters to full entrees featuring chicken and pork as the main meats. They offer a nice selection of beers and other drinks. I highly recommend it.

The retro 1990s restaurant pleasantly surprised outsiders with its renovated, cozy, well lit interior. The service was very nice, the waitress gave us very good advice on choosing a meal. The food is tasty, the portions are very large. : Be sure to try the desserts they have them fresh, homemade, every day.
