Traditional cuisine from Bergamo and its Alps is complemented with steakhouse-quality beef (the Argentinian roast beef served on a hot slate is a must-try! . Always packed with locals (always a good sign! , the service is always warm and efficient. Most of the products are local, except some meat from national and international farms. Make sure to try the polenta and porcini mushrooms. Interesting wine list with excellent wines from regional and national wineries, from small producers to world-famous Super Tuscans. Prices are incredibly cheap for the quality. Highly recommended!
I was really impressed. After enjoying our meal, I asked for an explanation of how their fresh pasta was made Christian, the host, graciously allowed me back there and showed me their $10,000 pasta extruder! I 've never seen a restaurant especially in the middle of nowhere spend so much on making extruded pasta! And it was cooked perfectly too! Al dente with a sauce of cheese and delicious wild spinach. My wife had the pizzoccheri, which were served with a ton of potatoes, cheese, butter, and spinach. Everything was delicious, and the hostess, (Stefania, I think) was really friendly, and so kind to our little baby. I 'd go back, even though the road there was CRAZY steep!
Just been to this place following the good reviews. However we were completely let down. It was a complete disaster. Food turning out in a couple of minutes everything pre-cooking, nothing fresh apart from the chips which where coming straight from the bag in the freezer. It was a big insult to the very good cuisine of bergamo and the hard working people in the agris around the area, that really work hard to produce fresh ingredients and offer them to their clients with love and passion
Ottimo ristorante, ambienti che sono un mix tra semplicità ed eleganza, cibo di ottima qualità e portate abbondanti. Il servizio è ottimo ed il personale molto gentile ed educato. Tornerei sicuramente
Un angolo di paradiso della cucina.Un grazioso ristorante ubicato tra le montagne bergamasche, dove si possono gustare oltre che i piatti del territorio anche carni ottime cucinate con maestria. Ottime le lumache e la polenta taragna dolci squisiti e una lista di vini fa far invidia a un Ristorate gourmet .Il tutto accompagnato dalla simpatia, cordialità e preparazione del personale di sala che unita alla pulizia , fanno di questo Ristorante un punto fermo per chi transita da queste parti.Il presso e medio ma in linea con la qualità e la quantità. L'importante è prenotare per tempo vista la difficoltà di trovare posto
