Almici Luciano - ZONE

We sat down outside on a lovely sunny day for lunch. After 10 minutes we started talking about going elsewhere but just as we were about to leave finally someone acknowledged our existence. Sadly it didn’t get much better. The food was passable if over cooked we had the daily menu. Wish we’d gone with our gut and found another place.

Went to Almici twice in a row, the first day we were referred by our host. As one of us has allergies it can be hard to find the right food. In Almici this was not a concern at all. They were very clear about what the food contained. Specifically the waitresses on both days were amazing. They were great help with our food choices and also took care of any dietary requirements. The food, we had pizza, was really good. The tiramisu for dessert was homemade and very nice. The pizza came out of a wood oven and had a nice thin bottom and as per the Italian kitchen very good specific ingredients. When in the area would definitely go back for another great experience

The food was good and the service helpful particularly when I lost my car key and went back for it the following day . The waitress had less English than we had grown used to, but was very willing to use what little she had. She was also less clued up about what Sensa Glutine Gluten free implied than we had grown used to in Italy but again, very willing to help.

Great pizza! big and goose! moderate prices .
