Great. eat pretty standard corsica menu. well prepared with good service. weinliste limited, but with good, inexpensive bottles. not the best in zonza, but in no case shabby.
Appetizer is of decent quality, but nothing special. the main thing is great. lamb was also perfect and nice souffle. dessert was very bad. it was a chocolate mousse and it was just terrible. service is very good and restaurant has it own private parking....Prices are normal and the house wine is also very good. when they go, I can recommend it extensively for the magnificent view of the mountain and excellent net.
We were initially very excited about the hotel the restaurant to the point where we had planned on staying 2 nights eating out the first night to see what was around Zonza eating at the hotel the second. We were excited...until the...morning came. I broke out in terrible hives my boyfriend went downstairs to ask about a hospital nearby. Rather then being concerned that her guest was ill, the owner of the hotel chose that moment to criticize rudely tell my boyfriend, Had we known you weren 't going to eat at the hotel restaurant, we would have never given you the room. began yelling in front of other guests that she her husband were offended, that we were awful guests, that we should have known that the polite thing to do was eat at the hotel restaurant rather then go out. I actually work at a hotel in the center of Rome we allow our guests to make their own choices about where they prefer to eat. The beauty of traveling is letting your curiosity guide you having the freedom to discover. We also show GREAT concern for anyone that may not be feeling well during their stay. All the owner seemed to care about was that we didn 't spend our money at her restaurant. She never even told us where the hospital was or if I needed emergency assistance. From a hotel/guest point of view...we were appalled. We packed up left immediately. This was the first , I hope, the last time that we receive such treatment from a hotel.
It's better to bring your own food. Restaurant is expensive, near fast-food. We took only some ice cream for kids and left with own sandwitches from backpack.
