Hitzberger - Zuerich

I was excited to try out Hitzberger, and keen to support their largely ethically sourced food and ethos around environmental concerns. I was hungry so asked for their risotto but shocked to receive a less than entree serving as a so called main course! Approximately a third of a standard portion, the food was ok but REALLY stingy. I asked was I given a small portion by accident, but was told there is only one size. I observed the other main meals on offer were mostly closer to standard portions, but these too were inconsistent in terms of portion size: cost ratio. My freshly squeezed orange juice was good although I had to request a glass rather than the plastic cups on offer at the fresh press machine. After paying CHF 20, I left Hitzberger hungry, to find a restaurant where I could actually order a meal and leave satisfied !

I bought a wrap it was not fresh at all very soggy and at least 3 days old I went back and said that it was unbeatable and they gave me another one which was also clearly expired and I throw it away also super expensive almost 14 francs for a rotten wrap

We haven't seen such an unfriendly middle-aged foreign lady for a long time. If you don't feel like working, you should change jobs.

Very satisfied with the service and think it's a top achievement that the ingredients are as fresh as possible. Smoothies are all labeled with signs of the strength and nature of eco-friendliness. Smoothies are sealed so they are easy to take with you without spilling. You can easily help yourself with customer cards, QR codes, cutlery, etc. without having to ask. It's one of the few places where you can get warm porridge in the morning. I felt recognized and valued as a customer. I would love to come back PS: Many thanks to the lady who served me on the morning of December 31st.

There was nonthing else but soy souce, no other flavour was tasted. I barely ate 1/3 of this coz it was so salty that I am drinking till now. I cannot remember to ate anything worse then this. The worst spend 22,5 franks ever
