Montmartre - Zuerich

I visited Montmartre with my daughter for breakfast in March 2023. I had specifically reserved beforehand, as it was a ‘date’ with my daughter, so was meant to be special. We were met by a busy waitress, and put at a table for 4, and were asked if it fine if others join us? We wanted privacy, so when a smaller table for 2 came free, we asked to move. She was not friendly or happy about it. Wrong coffee order arrived. We were not given cutlery, so when our food arrived, we had to wait for her to bring knives and forks (we in fact asked if we can take from the empty table next to us, she shook her head . We had ordered the ‘Croissant Gourmand” described as “croissant with poached egg, spinach leaves, bacon and hollandaise sauce”. When it arrived it was freezing cold. We complained, and the said waitress replied it was meant to be cold. Now in my entire life I have never eaten a cold poached egg with cold bacon and cold hollandaise sauce!! When we told her that, she replied “our regular customers know that”… Oh! Wow… and if we’re not regular customers, HOW are we meant to know that?!? She hyped up her attitude and unfriendliness, spoke to the barmen behind the bar loudly about us, never apologized, never tried to make it right, just brought our bill when we asked for it. Cute cafe in a cute side street of Zurich, but what an unpleasant unfriendly unprofessional waitress (her name starts with an ‘A’ , who made our visit awful. I will never visit again!!

Amazing place, unfortunately incompetent waitress who lies about seats being reserved. they turned out to be free for an hour and she made me leave the place instead of offering to have a coffee for an hour. was she expecting a rich Russian oligarch to come in instead? i dont know. my friend managed to get the seat, she then handed in the bill 15min before the reservation was booked for. what an unfriendly human being. down to 3 stars from 5. pity!

Herrliche Atmosphäre! Eine elegante kleine Oase. Speziell gelegen, entspanntes und professionelles Personal. Tolles lokales Café in der ruhigen Strasse in der Nähe des belebten Einkaufsviertels. Das Cafe befindet sich in einer malerischen kleinen Seitengasse und erinnert in gewisser Weise an Montmartre in Paris.

Nettes Personal Nettes Ambiente Kommen gerne wieder Frühstück war im, könnte reicher für 30 CHF sein. Kein Getränk oder ähnliches dazu. Leitungswasser kostet 5 CHF, wird erst am Schluss erwähnt und Berechnet

Das Essen war sehr gut aber die Bedienung empfand ich als unfreundlich. Sie legte mir das „reserviert Schild“ auf den Tisch und meinte, dass da bald jemand komme. Man hätte es auch freundlicher mitteilen können. Zudem war ich am konsumieren und nicht stundenlang am Platz besetzen...
