Ba Ba Lu Bar - Zürich

Der Kellner war nett, hatte aber keinen Überblick. Der Cocktail war ziemlich teuer, hatte dafür aber eine schwindend geringe Alkoholmenge.

I went to this bar for the third time recently. The cocktails were really good. The service was very friendly but they could sell way more drinks by being more attentive. The decoration is not very attractive for me but I would come back for more cocktails. I was impressed because I find it hard to find good cocktails in Zurich

Super Bedienung in gedigenem Ambiente. Sehr zentral gelegen im malerischen Niederdorf in Zürich. Immer wieder ein Besuch wert.

This mellow bar located in the Niederdorf has a few sidewalk tables and inside high ceiling, bar & stool seating, padded benches and sofas along the wall surrounding round silver tables. The music was good and there also seemed to be a special art exhibit (Autera) displayed on the walls that was very nice. The place has such potential, but besides the female bartender speaking with friends that walked by the bar, I did not feel very welcomed and I would same the same for another small group that came in for a drink. She had a friend that stopped by and he sat at the bar and she spent all of her time entertaining him.They do not have beer on tap and only offer three bottled beers, one of which I was informed was not available. I had a bottled beer (small 8CHF) which was served with a bowl of popcorn. Overall, the place could be nice, but I do not see myself returning based on this visit. Too many other places in town that really make one feel welcomed for their visit.
