In terms of quality, one of the better places for fondue in Zurich in winter. When entire companies are present, the noise level is immense. The ambience is well done, and the fireplace in the middle of the “tent” is also nice. The prices are, as usual for Zurich, high. Compared to recent years, the service is no longer at the appealing level it once was, although there are exceptions. The toilets aren't that great either. What's nice, however, is the extra wardrobe so that your coat doesn't smell like cheese. The outdoor area is also nice with fire bowls and the wooden, covered, colorfully lit terrace. Ms. Gerold's concept in the warm season is simple and effective: self-service for food and drinks and seating on several levels. The area is beautifully designed and they have managed to ensure that it is still “in” even after years. The prices are typical for Zurich and the food is rather simple. A place to be, talk and enjoy.

We were in the Fonduestübli. Food was good. Service was slow and unfriendly.

We had a very lovely evening here and the Fondue was very delicious. Loved that they have a lot of options when it comes to side dishes. We took them all! ¯ (ツ) ¯ Thank you so much!

Nice hippie esque market with places to eat and some stores. Don't go early is dead-empty. Edit: @Frau_Gerolds_Garten the doors were wide open when we arrived. There was a person there (guess a worker of one of the establishments) and said nothing about being closed. Some other tourists were walking around the same places we did. Looking for any open stablishment. Big mistake to make the false assumption tha we climbed and tresspased...
