Geroldchuchi - Zürich

This place was a true surprise. We loved the setup and the deco. Very simple. You basically sit on foldable benches and tables. The food is amazing. All homemade pastas etc and the wine is litereally outstanding. We enjoyed it so much, we went straight back a few weeks later :-)

First of all: I just like the style of the restaurant -- and I like the dishes. They are different from what you get usually. It's a cool refresh to the Zurich's restaurant landscape.

I liked to sit on the terrasse for an uncomplicated business luch. Food was good for luch. Service was super friendly Location is nice

There is only one burger and a few different types of pasta but all of it is really worth trying. We had a long chat with the Italian chef who showed is his kitchen, he does all the pasta himself, the sauce is his grandmas recipe and the curry sauce for the curry wurst is an original Berliner style! A must go when in Zurich - this guy really loves what he is doing!

Tucked away down an umbrella decorated side street and up a flight of stairs above a techno club, I would never have found without a little help from a local. Nothing fancy, but had superb fresh pasta washed down with a drop of nice local red wine. Very friendly service too.
