Had dinner at the restaurant during our stay at the GREULICH hotel. the menu offers a lot of choices, but no hearty Swiss cuisine. If that is what you're looking for. Always a soup of the day and nice sandwiches and a choice of cheese an cured meat platters. also veg. options available. quality of food and service is exceptional and I can only recommend this place.The drink menu is quite nice and they have a lot of choices

Greulich is a place you almost just have to know about to find. Located on a small street this hotel bar and restaurant is a really nice quiet locale. The place is like a reading room with easy listening music so feel free to bring your laptop or computer. They have a book exchange and library, games and artwork around the main seating room. There is another smaller seating space located next to the bar. Sidewalk seating is available at the front entrance as well as in their inner courtyard area. The day of my visit, they were wrapping up brunch. Their regular menu consisits of a full breakfast, meat/cheese platters, salads, sandwiches, hot/cold beverages, cocktails, wine and spirits. I had the soy milk hot chocolate (6.50CHF) and it hit the spot. The atmosphere is very soothing. I had contact with no fewer than three of their young staff members and they were all smiling, full of energy and more than willing to assist with your requests. They offer free secured Wi-Fi and clean restrooms. One item of note: they do have an enclosed cigar smoking room (and cigars for sale) behind the reception area. The ventilation probably could be better as I could smell the cigars scent inside the main bar/restaurant area as soon as I entered the business. I will certainly visit again and recommend.
