Schützenhaus Albisgütli - Zürich

It used to be the hang-out for the "target shooters" of Zurich and is still the center of attention during the "Knabenschiessen" the yearly shooting event where the boys and girls of Zurich compete. The restaurant itself is so so. Nothing much to write home about.

We went there for a lunch date. The service and dishes was very authentic. Price was reasonable. Do yourself a favour and go there on a day with clear sight. The view over Sihl valley to the mountains are breathtaking.

We went only for a cup of coffee before the concert next door. However, we will come back in the summer where we can sit outside. The view over Zürich and Zürichersee is fantastic, breathtaking actually.

Nice location but don't expect more than average food - the staff was friendly but really, really slow and not very professional - they did not take care of the guests instead preferred to have a chat with each other - I would not recommend it at all - there are a lot better places in Zurich - don't waste your time at this place!

I was here in a group for business trip - large group. The cater for large group is absolute horrid. The food has zero standards I could barely put into my mouth. Soup was overly salty, pork portion way too pathetic and overly done! Staffs were not friendly, even a simple question asking what is the name of this dish have not been acknowledged. I was told to "ask your tour guide" for an answer.Rubbish food, rubbish service. Just ridiculous. Not sure about the ala carte. Then again I will never go back again...
