I was born in Würzburg and have eaten here many times. Hence the anticipation that we will be going to the Backöfele during our home visit this year. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for the lees meer...

It was a great birthday dinner..the restaurant gave a nice card and took our picture. Our server (i forgot his name, sorry) was great, personable and attentive. We'll be back.

Our food was great and we really liked our waiter a lot. He was very attentive. I wish I would be able to remember his name. He was a young fella. We can’t wait to come back.
